PADI Diving – Snorkelling – Kayaking.

An archipelago located between the Philippine Sea and the South China Sea, the Philippines has 7,107 islands and just as many attractions, if not more. This vibrant country with a mélange of cultures, natural wonders, colourful history, and warm engaging people, meets all preferences and exceeds expectations.

An unrivalled marine ecosystem makes for some of the world’s best diving adventures.

El Nido Resorts
Miniloc Island this is a traditional resort with thatched Water Cottages on stilts and Forest Cottages, all air-conditioned.  The atmosphere is completely relaxed with a lovely ambience.  It is not luxury but it is a very good standard.  The ratio of staff to guest must be about 3 to 1.  This is an excellent place for swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving (tuition given), PADI diving, kayaking and island hopping.  All of which are all included, together with meals, at no extra cost. Meals can be taken at El Nido Miniloc, Lagan Island, at a restaurant on another island or a picnic on deserted island.  Whatever you want to do boats are provided, with staff to man them and look after you.  Life jackets are always worn on board.

This is a beautiful, unspoilt and un-commercialised area.  Because of the lack of people this area is possibly better than Phang Nga Bay, Phuket, Thailand and Halong Bay, Vietnam.  There are at least 47 islands of varying size with many secluded beaches.  A large lagoon is a short boat ride away for kayaking, snorkelling and caves to visit.  It is totally natural.

Pandan Island
Situated about 200 km south of Manila. It is near the fishing town of Sablayan, on Mindoro Occidental. It is a small private island with white sand beaches, clear waters and colorful corals. It is the nearest resort to APO REEF, one of the best dive spot of the Philippines.

Mindoro from  North to South...
Mindoro island ! so close to Manila but so far from modern civilisation.  Travelling there offer the feeling of explorers along virgin coasts and beaches, snorkeling on corals reefs, crossing the forest on earth roads close to where live those nomadic  Mangyan tribes and where you can still find the last remaining Philippine wild buffalos called "Tamaraw".  The journey has 2 parts : one in Puerto Galera, a tourist beach resort world famous for diving; another in Pandan Island, a small private island far from the beaten track.

DIVING PHILIPPINES       Diving with dugong, Philippines

Coron, Philippines

There are great diviing opportunities in the Anderman Sea off the Surin Islands and Ko Tao
The diving season is good from mid December – October.  During November until mid of December, it is monsoon season on the east coast however, as Ko Tao has almost 30 diving sites and the island itself act as a shelter, divers can still dive either sides around the island.  There might be a few days when the boat Chumporn to Ko Tao might not operate and in that case, we have to reroute the trip via Ko Samui instead. This can be checked only a few days prior to departure day. Clients who arrive during this period should check on the situation as soon as they arrive in Thailand.

Full PADI course are available plus diving for all experienced divers.
