Climbing in Switzerland

New Easyjet routes to Bassel make the Bassler Jura an ideal venue for climbing. The mainly single pitch routes are situated amongst fantastic forests offering shade on some of the crags even on hot summer days. All crags are easy to access and well bolted with good lower off points.

There are some quite unusual formations as well. Pinnacles, fins and ribs, superb pocketed faces as well as great crack climbing. Camping is an option in many of the nearby towns, and also it appears that bivvying in the woods is OK as they are equiped with fire pits, etc.
